Do you remember that the owner of the domain is not always linked to the person registered on our site and to the active hosting product?

Starting from this assumption I will now show you the various possibilities for requesting independent management of the active hosting product or domain registration with DNS management.

Host.it protects both the intellectual property, therefore the copyright of the contents, and the owner of the domain, always offering a fair and transparent solution. Our rule of good conduct is confirmed by the possibility of independently transferring the active hosting product (including data) or the domain registration service (with DNS) between two users registered on Host.it.

How to move one or more active products between two customer areas If both users between whom the transfer is to take place are registered on Host.it, the owner of the active hosting product (or any other service) will be able to easily and conveniently move the desired products to another user. This is done using the "move selected" function within your customer area. It will then be sufficient to enter the registration email address of the new profile to which the selected products will be transferred.

Once this is done, the recipient of the product will receive an email containing the link to approve the transfer. The link will remain valid for two weeks, after which the request will automatically lapse.

Sometimes the users who own the domain contact us with requests for assistance, as they no longer have contact with the web agency to which they had commissioned the creation and management of their site and which therefore appears to be the owner of the active hosting product.

The domain owner can only take possession of the domain name without associated web space as it is owned by a web agency or webmaster and for privacy and copyright reasons it is not possible for us to provide any copy of the contents or access to the web space owned by others.

In this case, the owner of the domain may ask us to move only the domain name, registered in his name, to his new customer area (subject to registration as a new customer on our JoomlaHost.it website).

NATURAL PERSONS: photocopy of the identity card and the tax code certifying that the name entered in the fax corresponds to the registrant of the domain.

PERSONS WITH A VAT NUMBER: it is necessary to send the request on headed paper, chamber of commerce certificate and photocopy of the front and back identity document of the legal representative. In the event that the contact has changed, the document of the new managing director visible in the chamber of commerce certificate and deed of transfer of the domain may be sent to us.

OTHER ENTITIES WITH A NUMERIC TAX CODE: (such as non-profit associations/bodies) it is not necessary to send us the Chamber of Commerce certificate. In the event that the president is no longer in office, the document certifying the change or association statute which shows the new name can be sent.

IN CASE OF MORTIS CAUSA: it is necessary to send the death certificate, the deed of succession and the identity document of the new owner.

This operation allows the management of the domain to be released to the owner and involves the immediate deletion of the web space associated with the domain, i.e. files, databases and email boxes or previously set DNS. This action means that the site is no longer reachable and any associated emails are no longer active or existing (including their content, except for all those emails of which you have a backup).

Once the fax has been received and the documents verified, for reasons of transparency the webagency is notified, communicating the receipt of the domain owner's request relating to autonomous management or release of authinfo for transfer to another provider.

Subsequently, the owner of the domain will receive our confirmation of receipt of the fax and an invitation to wait for the processing of the application to take approximately 24-48 hours.

After this period, the applicant will receive our confirmation via email and will be able to purchase hosting in association with the domain and where it will be possible to upload one's own backup, manage the DNS from the active services area or, an operation we do not hope for, recover the EPP code for the transfer to another provider.

In the event that you change profession, location or telephone contacts, I advise you not to abandon your customers but to promptly notify them and enable them to directly manage the hosting product or domain with Host.it or transfer the domain to another maintainer (an operation which we do not hope for).

Host.it, in compliance with the privacy law, does not communicate the retailer's sensitive data to other parties, this is a further guarantee of the protection and confidentiality of the information.

Conclusion Host.it protects the intellectual property of its customers by not providing a copy of the contents to the domain registrant but at the same time fulfills its duty and complies with the rules of good conduct, based on the contract stipulated with the registry, providing the domain registrant with management or authinfo of the same.
