The new DNSHOSTING.IT blog is born

We welcome the new BLOG signed dnshosting.it!

Who is DNSHOSTING.IT? I already know many of you, without perhaps knowing it. We are a Hosting Service Provider founded in 2002 under the name of Colt Engine, a 100% Italian company based in Turin, where our proprietary data center is also located.

In 2002, in fact, the first Colt Engine brand was born, DNSHOSTING, which offers hosting services both for the end user and for resellers and those who build and manage sites for their customers. In 2006, with the arrival on the market of the Joomla! CMS, we decided to create a second brand, JOOMLAHOST. Already from the name you will have guessed that it is a Hosting Service Provider specific for users who use Joomla!. JOOMLAHOST was born precisely from the need to make this Open Source CMS work at its best using optimized and high-performance Hosting services. Along with Hosting services, we are committed to also offering a whole series of services and add-ons, developed to improve our specific offer for Joomla! and, together with the site, a blog.joomlahost.it was also created dedicated to specific news about this brand and the CMS.

Over the last 2/3 years, with the spread of another Open Source CMS, WordPress, we thought that DNSHOSTING could also have its offering of Hosting services optimized and more vertical for a specific CMS. So, in 2015 the specific Hosting product for WordPress was born and a series of collaborations began with the Turin Community through the sponsorship of the WordPress Monthly MeetUps and the WordCamp which was held in our city last April.

DNSHOSTING has always been our most horizontal brand, known precisely for its offer less linked to a specific CMS, which adapts to the needs of users who use all types of more or less well-known CMS.

How was the DNSHOSTING BLOG born? Precisely for the reason just explained, the need arose to have a place where you can write all the news that concerns not only the company as a whole, but above all the world of the Web and Hosting in general. The blog linked to JOOMLAHOST did not allow us to write news relating to other CMS, for example, or in any case not without generating confusion on the part of readers.

So a more "neutral" blog was born where all of us at Colt Engine have the opportunity to report to readers the news that concerns:
