New features and releases - September 2022

So here are the 8 new features and releases we've introduced in the last 12 months.

1. Compliance services with the Cookie directives On 10 January 2022, the new directives of the Privacy Guarantor on the management of Cookies came into force.

We have therefore created a service that allows you, without having to do anything, to bring your site (or your customers' sites in the case of a Web Agency) into compliance.

2. Email Much time this year has been dedicated to working on email services, significantly innovating all levels of service and, specifically:

we have introduced MailWash, the new antivirus and antispam system capable of protecting your email inboxes from spam and dangerous viruses;

we have enhanced MailOUT for the management of outgoing mail, significantly improving the accuracy of the service.

MailWash and MailOUT work in a complementary way, guaranteeing greater security in the use of email, combating incoming and outgoing spam phenomena and improving the deliverability of outgoing mail thanks to the use of DKIM and DMARC.

3. New Control Panel We have released the first version of the new new control panel, it is called "Control", currently it offers features for our products:

For resellers with an active Bucket it is possible to view the list of activated domains, access DirectAdmin directly, see and manage backups, the 404 Manager and data relating to incoming and outgoing emails. For Customers with active cloud hosting it is possible to see the status of the service, occupied disk space and above all CPU and RAM consumption.

Control is accessible from control.host.it with the same credentials as the Host Customer Area.

4. New tool: 404 Manager 404 Manager is a service that we have included starting from June 2022 for all reseller customers with an active Bucket. It allows you to see a site's 404 errors in real time and correct them by inserting a redirect directly from the control panel.

5. WebSite X5 for Agency On the occasion of the Web Marketing Festival, we presented this new product, born from the collaboration with Incomedia, a leading company in Italy for the creation of the WebSite WebSite X5 for Agency is a bundle that includes the software and web space to create and host unlimited websites.

6. Shared Hosting We increased the available CPU on the Agile Host profile by 50% and increased the computational resources of the other hosting profiles to further improve performance.

We then focused on optimizing the purchasing flow of hosting services to allow you to choose whether to transfer the domain immediately, at a later time or keep it completely, indicating whether migration of the site by the Host team is also required.

7. Host Academy Host Academy is our flagship for continuous training. We have completely revolutionized the price list, moving to a VAT included proposition and lowering the monthly fee for access to the academy from 19 euros (excluding VAT) per month to 9 euros (including VAT) per month, so as to make training more accessible and even more flexible. Additionally, we have added, updated, and integrated numerous courses, including all courses for WordPress 6.

8. What we didn't do And finally, one thing we DIDN'T do: we managed (for now) not to increase prices. Energy price increases have hit our sector hard and many providers have had to take action. At the moment we have managed not to apply increases so as not to further burden the expenses of private individuals and businesses who have chosen us. We will be releasing many, many new features in the coming months. As early as next week, there will be a new useful and interesting service for everyone regarding Google Analytics.
