Let me introduce myself, I am Marco Mangione, CEO of Colt Engine S.r.l. and, if you are reading this article it is because you are certainly (or have been) a customer of one of our two brands: Dnshosting.it and Joomlahost.it

When, in October 2002, I founded the Colt Engine srl company, I had my vision very clear:

Easily and securely host business and personal websites.

We started from scratch, with a server and a lot of passion. Today, we provide services to more than 50,000 customers throughout Italy who, in recent years, have placed their trust in us and contributed to the growth of the company.

Here is Colt Engine s.r.l. in Numbers:

During 2016 we opened our capital to a new partner, Welcome Italia SpA, with whom we embarked on a beautiful and stimulating growth path.

We like to define ourselves as "Service Manufacturers": we want to think, design and create the products and services that we intend to offer to our customers.

In the current hosting market, where the price war is leading to the standardization of the services offered, we want to have our say and, to do so in an increasingly incisive way, we have decided to concentrate all our communication efforts in a new, unique and evocative brand:

Why a name change? managing two brands did not allow us to communicate effectively with you;

to continue the innovation path we have undertaken we needed to think and create a single new commercial offer;

Host represents, in 4 letters, exactly what we do.

What changes besides the name? In addition to the brand change, we will also implement a real corporate transformation, capable of supporting the challenging objectives we have set ourselves.

Who are the shareholders of HOST S.p.A.? Host is a company of the Welcome Italia group. For you it means being a customer of a solid company capable of giving security to your business, both with the infrastructures over which it has direct control, and from a financial point of view.

When will the change happen? From Saturday 3 June 2017 Host.it will be the only brand with which we will present ourselves to the market and Host SpA will be our new company name.

What will you have to do? You will not have to do anything except change our company name from Colt Engine S.r.l. to Host SpA in communications and in any bank transfer instructions.

In summary the changes that concern you:

ACTIVE PRODUCTS All the products you have active in your customer area will remain unchanged, both in terms of technical characteristics and prices. Forever, there will be no change. Gradually, over the next few months, we will update your products for free to the new SSD Technology and there will be the possibility of switching to the new commercial offer (which we will present on June 3rd) at conditions reserved for those who are already customers.

CUSTOMER SERVICE Our Customer Service will continue to provide you with all the support you need, increasing its presence every day of the year, 365 days of full commercial and technical support via chat, email, social media and our New Toll-Free Number

ACCESS ADDRESSES The URLs and access credentials for email, webmail and FTP will remain unchanged. Access to the customer area and other secondary links will change, but for these, we will send you a specific email on June 3rd.

PAYMENT METHODS The available payments (bank transfer, credit card) will remain unchanged, you will only have to change our company name in the bank transfer headers, inserting the new one: Host SpA

CUSTOMER AREA ACCESS USERID The access credentials (userid and password) will remain unchanged. If you have two accounts (one on dnshosting and the other on joomlahost), there will only be one left containing all your services. At the end of the merger procedure we will inform you what your active account will be.

At the same time as the re-branding we will also present a new hosting product, safe and innovative, provided not only by our historic data center in Turin, but also by the new infrastructure in Pisa.

Only for you, our current customer, there will be personalized conditions to try the new products or to convert your current hosting to the new Host product.
