Joomla! World Conference – Rome 17-19 November 2017

What does it consist of? Joomla! World Conference (JWC) is an annual conference aimed at users of the award-winning Joomla content management system. The sixth edition of the JWC arrives in Europe for the first time to bring the community together in Rome.

The event will take place over 3 days (17-18-19 November 2017) during which there will be a series of presentations, conferences and workshops in both English and Italian and, to ensure that the contents are understood by everyone, simultaneous translation is also provided.

The main theme, "The Italian bridge" refers precisely to the desire to help the large Italian community to participate even more actively in the Joomla! project, overcoming the obstacle of unfamiliarity with the English language.

The event's packed program includes sessions suitable for any level of knowledge and use of Joomla!: you will find courses for developers, for web masters and designers and for beginners.

Program of the 3 (or rather 4) days of JWC La Joomla! World Conference will begin on Thursday evening, with the Welcome Party which will take place starting from 7.30 pm and to which those who have purchased the full 3-day ticket together with the Social Pass will have access.

From Friday to Sunday you will have a program available that includes 3 to 4 interventions at the same time, to give you the opportunity to choose the topics of greatest interest to you.

Among the most important innovations of this sixth edition of the JWC will be the possibility of taking the Joomla! Certification Exam… in ITALIAN!

Yes, that's right: together with the exam in English, the exam session in Italian will finally also be available during all three days of the event.

It is also possible to purchase tickets for individual days or for the complete 3-day event, based on your needs and commitments.

Finally, as this is an event with an international scope, there will be no shortage of networking moments in which it will be possible to meet other Joomla! users and create new work and collaboration opportunities for your projects.

The only requirement to get the free ticket is to participate. In case of non-participation it is possible to register the entry in the name of another person.

You will be asked to pay the ticket amount (€125) as a guarantee, which will be returned when you show up at the event.

Why do we require the guarantee? Because the purpose of this GIFT to the Community is to get people to participate and since we have so many interested parties, we want to invest the money (an important sum, because we are talking about €12,500) for those who really want to participate in this event.
