We inaugurate the new Host.it headquarters

The date will be June 15, 2018 and the location Turin. The event is twofold: during the day, a training session dedicated to Partners and Customers to tell, in preview, the innovations that will be implemented in the offer of Hosting services and, in the evening, a real Inauguration Party for the new Host.it headquarters.

One year after the important rebranding operation which also led to a corporate transformation into a joint-stock company and an investment of over 1 million euros in Development and New Technologies, Host.it has decided to dedicate an entire day to those who have invested and believed in this growth.

This important goal, and all those that await us in the future, would not have been possible without all the PEOPLE who worked day and night to achieve the goal. In the last 18 months, Host has seen the number of collaborators grow who, despite the limited physical space available, have managed to design and implement hosting services that they have and are helping thousands of companies in Italy to grow.

Work began on the new headquarters in January 2018, capable of supporting this growth and above all giving the right space to all employees.

The new work spaces have been designed and organized to allow total collaboration between employees and to reflect one of our most important values: transparency. In fact, each office and meeting room inside the new Host headquarters is separated from the other spaces by glass walls. Furthermore, the spaces have been designed so that no one has their own personal office (not even the CEO), thus promoting total freedom of movement and sharing and cooperation between colleagues.

All workstations were equipped with high quality work tools. Comfortable and comfortable ergonomic chairs, an automatic lighting system that adjusts with the amount of light present outside and an adjustable air conditioning system in every room.

New hires in sight The construction of the new headquarters was designed not only to improve the working space of the current collaborators, but, above all, with the provision of new entries. In fact, 30 new hires are planned in all Host departments to support the industrial plan. We are looking for developers, UX designers, salespeople, customer service operators and marketing experts.

Where we started The story of Host starts in 2002 (at the time Colt Engine S.r.l.), not in a garage (as in the best stories of IT companies), but rather in an attic with 3 people.

For 15 years the Dnshosting and Joomlahost brands accompanied our business activity until their transformation into Host.it

Another important step in this story took place in April 2016 with the entry into the Welcome Italia Group, an industrial operation that led to the creation of a real Group of Companies, each specialized in a well-defined sector of telecommunications and IT (Information Technologies).

A history made of changes and innovations that have brought us to where we are now, that is, over 600m2 of new offices ready to welcome all those who work every day to make this company grow.

There is no growth without PEOPLE. Last year, with the transformation into Host.it, we also released a new hosting product, safe and innovative, provided not only by our historic data center in Turin, but also by the new infrastructure in Pisa. With this new configuration we are able to offer all our customers data replication on two infrastructures and Disaster Recovery in the event of serious failure, accident or maintenance at one of the two Datacenters.
