The Welcome Italia Group grows with the entry of Qboxmail srl

The Welcome Italia Group grows further with the entry of Qboxmail srl, a Prato company specialized in the creation of professional email services in the Cloud. This was announced by the three companies involved in the agreement: Welcome Italia spa, Colt Engine srl and Qboxmail srl.

The operation involves Welcome Italia, a telecommunications operator that caters exclusively to businesses, acquiring 51% of the share capital of Qboxmail. A 10% share will instead go to Colt Engine, a Turin company specialized in the provision of hosting and domain registration services.

That of Qboxmail is the second entry into the Group which took place in 2016. Last April, in fact, it was Colt Engine itself that signed an agreement which provided for the transfer of 51% of its capital to Welcome Italia. The two new arrivals in the group join Vola spa, a Tuscan company specialized in offering professional SMS services and NetResults srl, which now produces software for Unified Communication and Collaboration.

The Welcome Italia Group employs 208 people and in 2016 expects to exceed 46 million euros in turnover.

Professional email services in the Cloud are increasingly requested by companies because they allow them to communicate in an effective, flexible and secure manner, eliminating all those costs and risks (maintenance, software updates, obsolescence, faults) linked to proprietary email servers.

In its offer, Vianova Welcome Italia already includes a professional suite of applications and email services that allows you to synchronize email, agenda, activities, contacts and notes on all company devices. The skills of the Qboxmail team will allow the service to be further enhanced, with a view to the continuous improvement that distinguishes Welcome Italia and the Group companies.
