IBM #reloop2 France: together once again

A new meeting dedicated to IBM's Power8 platform will take place on Monday 1 June in France, at the IBM Client Center in Bois Colombes (17 Avenue de l'Europe, 92275 Bois-Colombes).

We will be present again at the event presenting the tests carried out by our Development department. The test we carried out to test the performance of TurboLAMP, the web application stack promoted by IBM and built on the Power8 platform, will be presented again to the French public. The test, as already mentioned during the #reloop2 events in Milan and Amsterdam, was possible thanks to the use of the MariaDB database and the ZendServer application server.

Thanks to this collaboration we were able to test the performance of this platform, using a clone instance of the joomla.it site, bombarding it with thousands of requests and simulating various possible interactions.

The #reloop2 France event aims to illustrate the advantages that the Linux on Power environment can bring to the activities of different types of companies thanks to its performance, its scalability and the consequent possibility of reducing acquisition costs.
