For both certificates it is possible to extend the certificate, in addition to the second level domain for example pippo.it, also to all subdomains pluto.pippo.it. Extended SSL Certificate Now we come to the "Extended SSL" certificate. This certificate is recognizable by the padlock and name of our company in green in the address bar of our browser and not only:

• the information displayed in the detail of the certificate includes the domain and the organization plus the company address • the activation time takes approximately 4 working days • the verification concerns not only the existence of the domain but also the existence of the company and confirmation of the registered, operational and physical headquarters is required. • has a cash guarantee of approximately 1.5 million dollars on the certificate itself and on the fact that there may be errors in the generation of the identity of the person or company who requested the certificate. This involves additional security • wildcard option included: allows activation on the main domain and all subdomains
