There is no absolute winner: traffic profile, required region and existing cloud services matter.
HS3 is particularly suitable if
- you want linear per-TB costs without calculating traffic or API calls;
- data must remain on Italian infrastructure;
- the workload generates frequent restores or downloads;
- you want to start self-service from 1 TB and scale with dedicated terms.
Aruba may be suitable if
- you already use Aruba Cloud services;
- you need a choice of Italian or European regions;
- a preset package closely matches expected storage and traffic;
- 24/7 technical support is a priority requirement.
